Coefficient of Performance - COP is the ratio of absorbed electrical power and thermal power generated heat. For example, a modern heat pump will generate 3 kW of heat for 1 kW of electricity consumed. In this case, the COP will be 3.
Energy efficiency rate of energy efficiency ratio is the ratio of power consumption and cooling power generated. COP and EER are similar sizes but are used for heating or cooling.
Energy class is a new inserted marker to allow consumers to compare energy efficiency of equipment. It is based on EER and COP, as follows:

- The values in the above table are expressed in W / W, but some manufacturers
use for measurement units EER Btu / h W. To convert to W / W must share in 3412.
Ex 11.00 EER = Btu / HW => EER = 3.22 W / W => energy device is class A.
Heat pump is the machine that can reverse the cycle of freezing cold, so to provide heat instead of cooling. Since the heat pump uses refrigerant it's possible to raise the air temperature from -15 C to a useful temperature for heating a room. Iimagine it like a reverse cycle refrigerator cold and the black grille behind it is very cold, and very hot inside it.
Heat pumps can extract heat from air, water or soil and are used for both cooling and heating of buildings effectively and economically.
VRV is a system designed and developed by Daikin Industries and means "variable refrigerant volume". Daikin own trademark, so other manufacturers use the term VRF "variable refrigerant flow". The principle works both ways as well and are extremely efficient, safe, economical to cool or heat buildings.
Refrigerant flow is very precisely adjusted to meet demand for heating or cooling the building, thus saving energy.
In short, these are probably the best available systems for medium and large applications.
Used to change the current frequency with which a compressor is powered , making it possible to modify RPM. This means you can change the flow of refrigerant circulating through the air, allowing the device's capacity to change.
One of the most common cause is the interruption of electrical power. Check
that safety is good at switchboard or that appliance is plugged into the wall.
Another reason are blocked air filters, check that they are clean. Consult the
instructions manual - sometimes it helps.
If the device still doesn't start, call the service.
Air conditioners need regular maintenance to function safely and with optimal
efficiency.
To explain simply, compare it with a car that has moving parts, it will function
safely and effectively only if you make periodic revisions.
Some yes and some don't. Basically, all refrigerants used by competent persons will never be released into the atmosphere, so has no harm over the ozone layer, but accidents still happen. That's' why new refrigerants are being developed, R410A and R407C, which are refrigerants considered organic.
It is unlikely, but it can be taken from air conditioning units which are poorly maintained. For periodic maintenance, service technicians use special chemicals to neutralize biological devices.
Air conditioning covers many things, but mainly refers to heating, cooling,
ventilation, fresh air intake, filtration and humidity control.
Cooling only air means improving comfort.
